I have a Zyxel NSA325 nas drive. I want to run Plex server on this. I am a bit of a newbie, can anyone help me with some instructions or links to.
Hello I am trying to set up remote access but still have 'Not available outside your network'. I checked problem according to 'Troubleshooting Remote Access' and I am probably in double NAT scenario (WhatIsMyIP.com shows different IP compared with my router IP). I contacted my ISP and it was told me that their router is in bridge mode (but I do not know if there was 'clever' person on their side).
My router has UPnP and DHCP enabled. Thanks for every helpMichalMy configuration:QNAP: TS-251A (FW 4.2.3 Build 20170121)Plex media server Version 1.3.4.3285Router TP LINK Archer C9Logs included. Hi all,I hope somebody can help me with this.I moved my plex server to the new NVIDIA shield Pro. All media is stored on a Zyxel NAS542. Both the shield and the NAS are connected to a gigabit network. I have created a share on the NAS and the shield is able to connect to it.So far so good, server installation went well, all media organized - nothing special some avi and mkv files. The shield then is connected directly to a receiver.
BUT everything looks really. if I start playing a movie in plex - blocks and fragments all over the screen.I already checked the few transcoder settings And changed everything to 'Original' and tested different other settings. But no improvement at all:(Hope somebody has an idea?ThanksDirk. Hello, question about Raspberry PI 3 runs OpenPHT and Direct Play.
Some of my remote Clients with Setting 'Direct Play' Having problems to play some High Quality files. You can find some file Informations in my Original postThe Error Message are say: 'Media can not be played.'
With Setting 'Force Transcode' or Setting an lower Bitrate the Playback works. Is it possible to set Direct Play when is it possible and goes to Transcode when den Pi needs it? Something like an Rapberry Pi profile to tell PMS what he can and what not.RegardsMassaguana. Hi,I try for weeks to setup a Plex Media Server on my dedicated server running Proxmox.I think this is due to the way I configured the firewall on my dedicated. When I try the same thing in a VM on my computer without any firewall everything works fine.I'm looking for help I don't know what to do more now.My dedicated server forward traffic to the VM thank to some IPTABLES routes.I've an internal network 10.0.0.0/24. I'm using PMP 1.2.2 on my Macbook Pro with 16:10 screen. The GUI of PMP is 16:9 and there are black bars on top and bottom.
This is something I like, because in this way the GUI is consistent between Mac and TV (and also much better than stretching the interface making everything look elongated like sometimes happens with Kodi). But if I'm watching a 4:3 TV show or movie, when I pause the movie the OSD bars are still drawn on the 16:9 area, so you see the movie picture on the top and bottom. I don't have a screenshot but look at the picture below. Is there a way to avoid this?
It's not so nice aesthetically. Getting PMS set up on the SHIELD has been a total nightmare for me. Hours of set-up required and I'm still not quite there.
After countless times disabling/re-enabling the server, signing in and out, un-installing/re-installing updates, I have finally been able to find the server on my network long enough to get my library imported and set up. After disconnecting and re-mounting my network storage several times, my video files finally no longer say 'unavailable' in my client apps. After manually setting static IP addresses, and setting up port forwarding on my router, I'm finally able to see the server outside of my network. I have servers also set up on a WD MyCloud and a Windows 10 PC. They were both plug-and-play and I've never had any issues.) I like the idea of the SHIELD because it's a happy medium.
The MyCloud can't transcode, and the PC is very power-hungry so I don't leave it on. I like that the SHIELD should be able to handle transcoding and be always available, which leads to my final issue/question.The issue that I'm having now is that the server seems to become unavailable when the SHIELD sleeps.
Isn't it supposed to run even during sleep? Otherwise, what's the point? Spectrasonics omnisphere v2 0 patch and keygen only r2r rar.

Is anyone else running into this? This seems like a very buggy release. Very uncharacteristic of Plex. If I'm listening to an album in the iOS app (from a local Plex server running on Fedora, using an iPhone 6S) it'll play a few songs, and then towards the end of a song it'll stop, skip to the next track, play a couple of seconds and then stop. Looking at it it looks like it stops buffering towards the end of the playing file at a random point and this is what causes the issue.
Only way to get it working again is to skip forward a track manually. All files are AAC m4a so direct play is being used on the device. Anyone else seeing the same issue? I've rebuilt the Plex server completely so it isn't that (hopefully!). 2016-03-21 Update:I was unable to find a plugin that would allow me to play custom streams, so after, with help of, and examples found on this forum, I created my first Plex plugin; I present You Plex plugin that plays network streams (a.k.a.
